Grant Wilson

Director of Religious Education, Parish & School Pre-K–8th grade · 2 years at St. Francis

Meet Mr. Wilson

Grant Wilson serves as Director of Religious Education for both St. Francis Solanus Parish and School, overseeing faith formation from Pre-K through 8th grade and beyond the school walls into the broader parish community. He brings serious theological preparation to that role, including nearly 84 credits from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and graduate philosophy studies at the University of St. Mary of the Lake.

Outside of St. Francis, he has taught English in China, logs time on the Ultimate Frisbee field, and is exactly the kind of person who books Morning Mass before a Saturday of board games.

In the classroom, his approach is anything but passive: every lesson is built around hands-on activities, games, and song, rooted in the conviction that faith should be active and exciting.
