St. Francis Solanus Parish and St. Francis Solanus School respect your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects, why, and how it is used. It applies to stfrancissolanus.com, including the parish and school sections of the site.

The short version

• We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, in general and without identifying you.
• When you fill out a form, we use what you send only for the purpose the form describes.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not run advertising on this site.

Information you give us

Some pages have forms, such as parish registration, contact, Ask the Pastor, prayer requests, school tour requests, and preschool interest. When you submit a form, we receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message.

We use that information only for the purpose stated on the form. For example:

• A contact message goes to the staff member who handles your topic, so they can reply.
• A parish registration is used to welcome you and keep parish records.
• A prayer request is shared only with our parish prayer group and our priests.
• An Ask the Pastor question is read by our priests. It stays private unless you check the box saying it may be shared anonymously.
• A school tour or interest form goes to the school office so they can follow up with your family.

Form submissions are stored securely on the website and sent by email to the appropriate parish or school staff. Only staff who need the information to respond can see it.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited most, how people find us, and what kind of device they use. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects general information like your browser type, approximate location (city or region), and pages viewed. It does not give us your name or contact information.

Other websites and services

Some pages link to or embed services we don't operate, such as online giving through PushPay, FORMED, FACTS, YouTube and Facebook videos, Google Maps, and the USCCB daily readings. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them before sharing information there.

Children's privacy

This site is meant for parents, parishioners, and the public. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. School forms are intended to be completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies; the site will still work. If you'd like us to update or delete information you sent through a form, contact us and we'll be glad to help.
