Meet Mrs. Hull

Sarah Hull has taught Kindergarten at St. Francis Solanus for all 19 years of her career, every single one of them here. She has welcomed generations of St. Francis families through their very first days of school, and the connections she builds with students and their families are at the center of everything she does.

Her classroom is, by design, a place where learning is joyful, laughter is welcome, and hard work and fun are never mutually exclusive.

Faith & classroom

  • What she loves most about teaching at a Catholic school

“My favorite thing about teaching in a Catholic school is the strong sense of community. I love the connections I build with my students and their families. It’s special to work together to support each child’s growth in both learning and faith.”
  • What she hopes every student remembers

“I hope every student remembers that learning can be fun. We laugh, stay engaged, and enjoy our time together while still working hard and growing.”
  • How she brings faith into the classroom each day

“I bring faith into our classroom in simple, meaningful ways. I connect the Bible stories we are learning to real-life situations the children understand, helping them see how they can live out those lessons. I also focus on kindness, reminding students to treat one another with love and respect in everything we do.”

What our families say

Patience, grace & compassion

Mrs. Hull's teaching goes beyond academics as she weaves the Catholic faith naturally into daily lessons and experiences. She teaches the students about Jesus and points them to Him through her examples of patience, grace, and compassion within the classroom. By the end of the school year her students are not only academically ready to move on to first grade, but they have also grown in character, respect, and love for Jesus and others.
