A welcome letter from Fr. Steven Arisman, Pastor
Dear Friends in Christ,
Suggested · The welcome Welcome to St. Francis Solanus! Whether you are a lifelong parishioner, new to Quincy, visiting family, or simply curious about the Catholic faith, I'm glad you're here. Everyone belongs here.
Suggested · Who we are Since 1860, the Franciscan spirit of this parish has shaped a community rooted in prayer, simplicity, and care for one another, in the footsteps of St. Francis Solanus himself.
Suggested · What matters most Everything we do begins at the altar, in the Eucharist. Sunday Mass, Confession, and Adoration are the heart of our life together, and from there our faith flows out into our homes and our neighborhood.
Suggested · Parish life There are many ways to make this parish your home: St. Francis Solanus School and our religious education programs, small groups for every stage of life, and service to our neighbors through the food pantry and our many ministries.
Suggested · A personal note [A few lines from Fr. Arisman: what he loves about this parish, a short story, or a favorite saint, so readers meet their pastor.]
Suggested · The invitation If you've been away from the Church for a while, please know you are always welcome back. Come to Mass, introduce yourself, or register as a parishioner. And if I can help you with a question about the faith, a sacrament, or a difficult time in your life, my door is open.
I look forward to meeting you after Mass.
