What happens at BEAR

Four things, every week

Our mission is to help young people bear the joys of Christ for all to see. We do this through:

Snacks Of course

Nobody does faith well on an empty stomach. There's always food.

Service Service projects

Hands-on ways to help others in the parish and around Quincy.

Discussion Interactive discussions and activities

Games, small groups, and real conversations about faith and life.

Faith Prayer and sacraments

Coming closer to Christ together, through prayer and the sacraments.

Beyond Monday nights

Faith, friends, and the occasional rock wall

BEAR is one of the liveliest things happening in this parish. Along with the weekly meetings, the group gets out for outings and events together, like a trip to the climbing wall.

Junior high is when a lot of young people decide whether faith is theirs or just their parents'. BEAR gives them a place to ask real questions, alongside friends and leaders who take those questions seriously.
