From Our Pastor

A Note From Fr. Arisman

I just wanted to send a quick update to you all.

I saw the surgeon for a follow-up appointment on December 23. It was all great news that I’m making good progress. I was released from most of my restrictions, including being allowed to start driving.

I was able to attend Mass-not in my hospital room or at home for the first time-at Cathedral for Midnight Mass for Christmas. It felt very good.

I’m still limiting my visitors and being cautious about where I’m going and what I’m doing, just so I don’t catch anything else during the recovery process.

I began Cardiac Rehabilitation on December 26. I have been a couple of times now. It is very helpful but also very exhausting and winding.

I can’t thank you all enough for the cards, letters, generous gifts, and well wishes. Your support means the world to me.

I really am eager to get back, but I don’t want to rush and risk any setbacks. I’m just following the doctor’s orders and looking forward to returning when he says I’m ready, in a few weeks.

I miss you all very much. Merry Christmas to you all. Happy New Year to you all.

I look forward to seeing you all. Please keep praying for me and know of my prayers for all of you.
